Can't you just change what's being sent as what when syncing to an iPod Classic then? It sounds like Artist is being sent as Series Title (I only have two unique non-blank Artist entries in my TV series videos, and I've never scrolled through enough to see if they're being shown as series titles)... shouldn't it be fairly simple to tell MM "This is an iPod Classic, use Album instead"?

EDIT: Or better yet, how do I enact the necessary changes, if possible? I've been scouring MM for the settings I could swear I remember existing that would (in theory) take care of this problem...

These are standards, at least they were when we have done framework for video tagging.

Title = Episode Name
Album = Series

Most like you experience problem that Album is Actually Series Name and Title is Episode name?

Bug since MMW 4.0.3, last tested on MMW 4.1.0.1681. iPod Classic 160GB.

Syncing videos and TV series works, but in the case of the TV series, the series title is overwritten by the episode title, which results in the iPod showing what it thinks is some thousand or so different TV series that each have one episode. Series and episode titles are being properly stored in the files on computer.
