Yeah you are right it is not the problem with the wi fi connection it is looking like problem in the device.

Than you all for report, I just finished Testing of MMW OGG sync which ended in 2960+ track converted and no issues.

There is a delay when doing Manual Sync but that worked like that from start and it is expected. I agree that there is space to improvements which are noted in our to do.

fyi, we tried syncing 2500 tracks and auto-converting them to OGG, but couldn't replicate this bug using MM 4.1.9.

4.1.9.1759 is latest MMW version (in RC sytate currently).

If you see .XXXXXX filenames it means that MMW could not rename tracks to .OGG

LOG file should show why, so please open support ticket and create debug log as described in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69

Can someone please respond and help with my issue?

I am having a similar problem. When I convert FLAC files to OGG files it will seem to work just fine in MM, but when I check the directory where the OGG files are created, some will not have been done and others will have an associated .XXXXXX temporary file there as well. The OGG files that have an associated .XXXXXX file will not be found by my music player on my phone. I am using version 4.1.6.1736 which I believe is the latest.

Storage wise, it's around 90 gigabyte. My S5 has a nice 128GB sd card!

OK. 12000 songs synced without an issue. It seems like Ogg auto-conversion was the issue here, mp3 works fine (although that is a lesser format).

Weird, I think I got it working now. Cleared my phone from music and started re-syncing. However, this time I chose MP3 for auto-conversion instead of ogg. Might ogg be an issue?

So far, I have been able to sync several thousand songs and not a single issue.

I now tried to empty the whole auto-sync list and disabled deletion of unselected music. That way, I can gradually add a larger and larger portion of my media library back to the auto-sync list and see if anything changes.

Interestingly, with only a few hundred tracks selected sync runs flawlessly. So far, I have synced 120+ tracks and MMA does not even hesitate between tracks. With 4000+ tracks selected the process is much slower and there is a hesitation of a few seconds between syncing each track. With the large selection I am usually able to sync between 5-20 tracks before stalling, and now 100+ tracks is a breeze.

I am thinking of two possibilities: Either there is a problem with specific tracks in my music library, or (more probably) a very large auto-sync list causes problems. Remember that my phone has a 128gb sd card and I use almost all of it for music, is it possible that there is some bug I run into with such large sync lists?

Okay, I have generated a MMW log file. The corresponding MMA log has been submitted as MTFSVSJ67E.

Is there anywhere I can send the MMW log file? Can I PM the location of the log file to someone without publishing it here in public? Thanks.

Thanks for taking your time with this. Any ideas as to how I can find the issue of the timeoutexception? I really do not have noticee any connectivity problems otherwise.

OK, I'll try to create a MMW log as well. The issue still persists even with the latest versions of MMW and MMA.

There is something strange going that I don't think is related to wi-fi. I have a new wifi bridge at home, and there are absolutely no issues except with MMA. The problem also always occurs after 5-15 songs or so.
