I suggest to capture the scanning of the files in a debug log (step 4b) and to send the log to support so that the developers can analyze why the files aren't added: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69

yes, they play
I've tried also to load them manually, but if I try, e.g. to load the album cover, it's impossible to save it; I see the cover once loaded, but as I leave the view and come back, the cover disappears

Do they play in MediaMonkey?

error during file scan / catalog build or refresh

by mao1959 » Tue Oct 07, 2014 10:14 am

Building from scratch or refreshing my catalog, i noticed some errors and.
I run Mediamonkey 4.1.4.1709 on Windows 8.1.
The files I'm trying to load into my catalog are all FLAC, (16/44, 24/48, 24/96, 24/192 ...) and they are all tagged (using Mp3tag).
The most of them is correctly loaded (5081), while 90 of them aren't loaded and the log gives an error saying there's an error during file info reading.
I noticed that the files in error aren't stereo coded: the major of them is mono (old jazz recordings), while some are multichannel (5+1 coding).
Is there some problem in scanning such files?
