I understand your point, but it is still better to have some information than no information. It previously showed the conversion progress for the file that was closest to completion. If the closest file is at 90% then I can wait for it to finish before leaving for work. The current build of MMA stops showing how many tracks have been synced and how many in total are part of the sync while waiting for any track to convert, so it hides any indication of sync progress.

I wouldn't be surprised if that information was inaccurate (just as it is in MMW) as multiple files can be converting on a multi-core system.

Since the new round of betas started with build 328, MMA no longer shows the track name or progress when waiting for MMW to auto convert tracks during sync and instead just states "waiting for file to convert". Is it possible to get the progress information back? If possible it would also be helpful to have an estimated time to completion. Sometimes I sync before leaving for work and it helps to know if I can wait a few more minutes for conversion to finish or if I would be better cancelling and starting again after work.
