Then I suggest you capture the sync in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=26&t=69

Yep, 1.1.0.405. It's no longer beta, but has been released. In combination with MMA 4.1.6.

Are you using the latest beta of MMA?

Thanks for the reply.
I do have two profiles. Note that when using the profile for the external SDCard, the music does end up on the SDCard, just not in the correct dir. I think it's supposed to go in the special /Android/Data/com.ventismedia.android.... dir, but it doesn't. It just goes to the top level of the SDCard, in a dir 'music'. If I understand it correctly, it means that MMA can read that data, but cannot change anything and hence cannot update/sync the library, like ratings and other stuff.

Do you have 2 Device Profiles for the device? Sometimes they get switched (internal syncs to external and external to internal). In that case just rename them and adjust sync settings accordingly to resolve.

USB Sync Fails to Sony XPeria Z1 Compact SDCard

Hello,

I'm having a Sony XPeria Z1 Compact device, running Android 4.4. I'm using the latest released versions of MMW (4.1.6) and MMA (1.1). Did a clean install of MMA on this device. Then I'm trying to do a USB Sync to the SDCard. But this Sync always puts all info in the /Music/ root directory on this SDCard, nothing in the special /Android/Data/... directory, and as a result library information like ratings is not synced. Do I need to do something special to make it sync to this special directory?

On this forum, I'm reading of similar issues with this phone type (http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=12555). Does it not work with this phone?

Kind regards,
Rudi
