It's still occuring in 491 but the duplicate is being cleared sooner. When the duplicate occured this time I paused the track and opened MMA and by the time I could submit the log it had gone. Log NXBZ9PJHFM.

My phone has had the update to Android 6 prior to this log, but I don't think that has afftected the behaviour.

It should be resolved in 489. Thanks again.

Log 62XUK9RB6K submitted. Two notifications were shown while I was playing a podcast through the phone's speaker, so it isn't related to bluetooth. I had paused and resumed the playback a couple of times before the duplicate notification but I'm not sure that's related. Also just after the log was submitted I opened MMA and the duplicate was cleaned up, then with playback paused went back to the home screen and the duplication occurred again but cleaned itself up again after a few seconds.

I'm still seeing the behaviour in 482. I'll try to get another debug log next time it happens.

Since updating to MMA 461 I am occasionally seeing duplicate notifications for MMA. I haven't nailed down the cause yet but every time it has happened I've been listening through bluetooth and had paused the playback. So far I think the duplication is related to resuming playback from pause.

Both notifications are permanent so neither can be dismissed. Only one has an event hook to update the track position every second but the other does refresh to the current position when the notification tray is pulled down. When playback is stopped one disappears after a period of time but the other stays and can only be removed by pressing its stop button.

I have submitted debug log UGNZ4UIJ3I shortly after the second time this occurred.
MMA 461 running on a Nexus 6 with stock Android 5.1.1.
