I just got the same problem after upgrading to Version 4.1.13.1801
The debug app did genrate a Crash Report before quitting the App.
Please let me know if you Need addtional Information.

I did some testing and figured out the it works fine when launched as Administrative user.

Thanks. We're goingto have a look at that right away.

Can I ask for one more thing? Would you be able to send me a copy of your mma database via a private message (e.g. using dropbox or mediafire)? It's located at /MediaMonkey/files/mmstore.db .

Thanks.

1. Debug Log while MMA is running correctly: IJW9F694G7
2. search for "metallica" -> loading circle is turning for ~30 seconds (no search results - circle still turning)
3. press play button -> playback starts, App freezes
4. Android asks whether to close APP, wait or ok -> press "ok" and get back control over MMA
5. send Debug log: MDUILTQTWB

Hi,
"lowlander suggestion" was a typo the reason I was asking these steps were to
1. MMA started without crash (First Debug Log sent and write down LOG ID)
2. Proceed with search and allow MMA to crash (followed by auto debug log sending)
3. eventually MMA should either crash and close or you will get control back (this is where you send new log and write down log ID)

This way we will have starting point and ending point so we can narrow exact location and time MMA crashed.

Can you please repeat and send new logs?

I do not know what you mean by lowlander suggestion...
So I uploaded debug logs with id HVZKMD48L0
This is what I did:
- search for "metallica"
- wait 1 minute for search result (MMA still doesn't find anything)
- upload debug logs

As the I crashes if I press play while searching, I cannot send debug logs in this case.

PS: MMA crashed after sending debug logs, so it seems that it doesn't matter which action I do while searching, the app crashes

Hi,
I'm unable to replicate the behavior with MMA Build 541 Can you please follow lowlander suggestion but I would also send one prior to crash and as sson as you start MMA after the crash.

So thanks for the quick update... With MMA 1.1.3.0541the app doesn't automatically crash if I search a song.
But the loading circle still turns infinitely. I never get a search result... If i press the "play" or "next song" button while seeing this loading circle the app horribly crashes!
Playback is still active but app is not working anymore. Playback is even still active if i kill the app...

Thanks--I'm able to replicate. It'll be fixed in the next beta.

MMA crashes if performing search for song [#13038]

MMA 1.1.3.0539
Samsung Galaxy s4 (GT-I9505)
Android 5.0.1

MMA crahses if i search for a song. When I submit the search string a loading circle turns infinitely until the app crashes.
This is reproducible and not dependent on the search string!
