Nope, not the same exact problem :
With the screen on , using the h/w volume switch, the volume panel is displayed correctly as usual, but it has no effect on the actual sound played by MMA.
Same problem when the screen is Off : cannot change the volume.
But using other media players, I have no issues.
I found a little tricky work-around, by starting another music player, starting then stopping the music, leaving it open, then switch to MMA and play the music.
By doing this, I can effectively change the volume on MMA.
