continuous seeking [#14338]

My bluetooth headphones have a remote on the wire that lets you control volume, pause playback, or seek forward or rewind within a track. To seek, you hold down the volume +/- buttons, and other android players (e.g. doubletwist, vlc) respond accordingly by seeking until you release the button.

Mediamonkey, however, only rewinds one ~5 second snippet at a time. So if I hold down the rewind button, the track goes back 5 seconds, then continues to play for ~3 seconds until the button registers again as being held down, then rewinds ~5 seconds again, and so on. Is there a setting within MMA that will register seeking requests continuously, or should I make a feature request?

Edit:
I just bought the pro version, which (I think) unlocked a lot more options. I tried the following, but nothing has fixed my problem:
- Allow MMA to make system changes
- Enabled 'Always respond to remote buttons'
