Yes, it is the Podcasts node and the List view. I didn't tried the Tabbed or the List by album views. But I will tomorrow.
I'm not sure, but for testing purposes (see the issue above), it may be worth to set an option to ignore such marking. That is, to ignore, whether the episode has been downloaded and removed manually and just go with the options for the particular podcast RSS. As I pointed out, the manually downloaded episodes are removed according to the podcast options on
Update all podcasts.

2. If the episode is downloaded and subsequently deleted then it is never automatically downloaded again. You can download it manually anytime later though -- supposing that you have the "Show removed episode links" option enabled.
I very well understand also the current behavior, when one does not wish to re-download the manually deleted episodes. If a user could see that 'never download again' marking, they can revisit the episode and unmark it to "automatic", and a manually deleted episode would become an ordinary or automatically deleted episode. That could be very well applied to manually downloaded episodes as a 'keep forever' marking.

1. you probably mean Podcasts node in the "List" view and not the default "Tabbed view", right ?
