1) Sort feature - No matter how specific the search criteria, there are always 'garbage results". A simple sort would help. An advanced sort ("Sort by Artist", "Sort by Album", and/or "Sort by Year") would be even better.

2) Title / Album - Don't know if this is possible with Amazon... but I want to be able to look up just an album or just a song title. (If you ever supported an "autotag from AMG [allmusicguide]", it's fairly easy to sort by artist, album, label, year, and even genre.)
I just wanted to second this wish especially 1 and 2, just try and find a dolly parton/kenny rogers/willie nelson album :)

Some compilations I cant find (too old etc) so I just want to find an album for the individual songs

#6 is "Select all available Amazon Fields"

#6 is "Select all available Amazon Fields"

Perhaps i was unclear. I want a quick way to select/unselect all fields on the Amazon portion of the screen to copy to whatever songs are selected in the grid.

6) Is already available to select all tracks.

More... (Sort grid; Select All; Advanced search criteria)

5) Sort grid - Currently you cannot sort the grid. You should be able to click column headers to sort.

6) Select All - The fields that are available for import from Amazon fluctuate. There should be a checkbox for "Select All" so that you don't have to go through the entire Amazon screen and click individual checkboxes to make sure that all are selected.

7) Advanced Search Criteria - If at all possible, there should be a more advanced search criteria interface. Ideal approach would be a one-line grid at the top of the screen. This grid would contain fields that you can search upon, populated by whatever song is selected in the grid at the bottom of the screen. You should have a way to select and unselect fields from your search critera (for example, so you can search for "Artist" and "Album", but not "Song Title"). THEN, when you click the search button, you should get much better results.

(Auto-tag from Amazon) Sort feature; title; multiple sites

Improvements to the "Auto-tag from Amazon" feature:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Autotag is a good feature as is -- could be better with a few improvements...

(Currently, it appears that Artist is a required field -- you can search for "Artist - Album", but that's about it. Suppose, I want to search for a song "867-5309" --- the current search will try to search artists for some form of "867-5309". Result: maximum garbage, minimal effectiveness.)

3) Multiple sites - Why not provide options to search more than one site simultaneously? Sure, the search will be slower, and there will be more results to sift through, but the results will be more complete.

4) Fields/Columns - Apparently Autotag can pull all sorts of information from Amazon. Some of these fields (for example: LABEL) are not available for show/hide via the grid's context menu. Every field that can be imported/autotagged should be available in the grid. (It would be understandable if you want to exclude COVER and/or COMMENTS from the context menu.)
