Yes great find - under tools - options - then general plug-ins.
Thanks.

No, you'll have to find another plugin that lets you use the Artist - Title format.

Thanks. Got the plugin. It's now like I wanted, Artist - Title.
But is there a way to configure the plugin so that it won't cut the song title/artist name in to 30 characters?

Example:
I play this song: Coheed And Cambria - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth 3

but in Messenger it shows like this: Coheed And Cambria - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent E

??

Yeah, use another plugin. See the MM Plugins link in my signature.

"Toaster for Winamp Classic" can do this (I think), but the plugin is a bit to big if you only need that.
A very simple plugin, but with enough customisation (the one I use) is "Now Playing!"

Okay, it works great. But.. In Messenger it shows like this :

Title - Artist

Is there a way to change it to this :

Artist - Title

??

Yesterday I have sent the report to Google. And within only three hours I had my answer!
E-MAIL MSG: I wrote:Hello,

Yesterday I have installed MediaMonkey (a program to play music). But
it doesn't quite seem to work together with Google Talk when the option
"Play Current Music Track" is selected (if this option is NOT selected
there is no problem with Gtalk). When I start Google Talk while I'm
playing music in MediaMonkey, Google Talk returns me an error message.

What do I have to do if I don't want this error message BUT that I can still show what music track is currently playing.

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

E-MAIL MSG: Google wrote:Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Google Talk's music status feature is designed to be compatible with
some
of the major music players. These players are listed in our help
center,
along with links to their download pages, at:

http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/ ... swer=44269

Music status sharing hasn't been tested on other players at this point.
When we add compatibility with more players, we'll list them in the
help
center article above.

Sincerely,

The Google Team

Heyz, great topic, but is there also a fix to integrate with Google Talk (Google Messenger) now playing...? Because Gtalk always gets stuck when I sign in while playing a song in MediaMonkey when the option 'Show Current Music Track' is selected. :)

Thanks in advance,

Cheers Lowlander - in the end I gave up with the plugin I was using and am using Toaster instead. Maybe it was Toaster I had working before, I don't remember.

Another MSN plugin http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=146433 supports some shoutcast station.

And another http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=146591 which can also update to your website.

And yet another http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=145060 which has some configuration options.

And a toaster imitator http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=144799

I haven't tried them.
