Exactly as you said. If I switch to other tab while scanning, the broken links will appear on whatever tab I open.
Otherwise, they will only appear on the active tab.
Also to note, this option was always been checked:

OK, so generally if you are on the active tab in Grid view then during scan the images changes to broken links?
And once you switch to another tab and back then all is OK again?

I programmed MM to rescan at the moment I open the software.
The problem always occurs on the tab that is active, the other tabs are unaffected:

So I must limit the usage of the software until it finishes scanning or be on a tab that I don't want to be affected by the scan (Now Playing, for example).

Hello.
This is the log:

And this is how MM turned out:

Please capture a debug log with the new beta build.

Sorry to necro the post and beating the dead horse, but it's happening again (2024.2.0.3162)

I insist with this subject, because this very feature is the reason I decided to use MediaMonkey.
So it's disappointing to me to see it like that.

Hi,
3154 build should be available at viewtopic.php?t=86639&sd=d for you to test.

Hello.
Nope, this is what I got on one of those:
<img data-id="artworkImg" class="allinside box autoMargin ignoreMouse autosize" style="display: none;">
As I said, on the stable version this isn't happening.

Hi,
that's curious, could you please try to right-click one of the broken links and select 'Inspect Element',
it will bring screen like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/uvhbowv2 ... g9c6k&dl=0
and the 'src' link should point into your temporary directory for the JPG thumb file, can you please verify that the thumb file is there?

Also generating debug log would help here: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

Album art not showing correctly on MediaMonkey Beta (Again)

by SgtPepperman » Thu Apr 17, 2025 7:49 am

Sorry if I necro the name of one of my previous post, but...

Image

I programmed MM to scan my entire library each time I run it, since one time ago MM somehow deleted most of my files. But it keeps forgetting the cover art, as you can see on the image. I'm using the "Location" view.
To fix it, I delete and re-scan the folder, but it's not permanent. When makes the programmed scan, the cover art is forgotten again. Using MM 2024.2.0.3151, debug.
I'm going back to stable version (2024.1).

P.S.: This issue is not showing in 2024.1 (From MM website).
