Moved it to the correct forum. This Addon won't do, but you could try one of the report Addons instead: https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... t/reports/

According to the info there, this works with MM 5. What if I'm running version 4.1.31.1919?

Here's a followup note: I downloaded SQLite DB browser and attempted to open MM.DB and had no luck. It seems to see the DB file but displays zero tables, views, triggers, etc. under schema.

I have over 200k music files that I have collected over the years and I'm trying to organize them by genre. My plan is to identify the minimum set of usable genres and shoehorn all the rest into one of those categories. Create report only gets me the first 12,888 listings (up to the letter "C"). I tried exporting to CSV, Excel. I don't speak HTML so am reluctant to try XML file. I tried to open the MMDB5 or the MMDB file but what's the app? I have MS-Access but got some issues I don't understand. I'm trying to get a list of unique genres. If I could add them to my drop down list and remove the rest that would be a plus. Running version 4.1.31.1919 on Windows 11.
