Well, could also have been Beta 1, but as I wrote, I'm not shure anymore when it appeared the first time.

PS I didn't try with the beta's as user said it's an issue that existed before current beta cycle.

i guess this is related to this fix:
1422 Fixed Deselection using Shift or CTRL doesn't work correctly

since you click on the first item it gets selected. now drawing the box with the mouse inverts the selection state of all items under the box. since the first item got selected with the initial click it's now inverted to "not selected"

It works for me, although I must admit that the selection works weird the way it's implemented. I often need to move the mouse around a bit before I get the selection right.

It's not a problem that apeared with the latest Beta, but some releases before. I'm not shure which one it was, sorry. But it seems to be a MM problem, because it appeared wit a reinstallation and other programms don't have that problem.

If I try to select some lines, the first line is not selected properly.
