Probably your Windows Script Host is not installed or corrupted. You can download this from the Microsoft website and install it again.

script initialization error

by vjandme » Wed Aug 30, 2006 11:58 am

Sorry if I reposted this twice but as I said I'm a newbie. First I would like to say I think that MM is the best tool I've come across. When I go to file>create reports>(any script used) I get the following error:

"Error happened during script initialization: A script engine for the specified language can not be created"

What does this mean? I've already uninstalled, rebooted windows and re-installed MM but I keep getting this error. Can some one please help.
One more thing is I'm using Windows XP Home edition if that makes any difference. Thanks -vjandme
