Yep, I got the play button and it's always showing. I actually got it as MediaMonkey hides once in a while.

Can someone confirm that Play Icon in My Tray Controler Plugin for MediaMonkey is always on when MM is playing (it is on my computer). I have made some changes to Tray Icon behavior and handling. MM uses same type of handling so if this can be confirmed maybe I could add it to MM itself.

Nope, you can't. Theoretically it's possible, but because the MediaMonkey window title often changes, Windows sees it as different applications... so your settings won't "last". They will be there in those settings, but they won't be used for other MediaMonkey instances.
This has been discussed before, here, but I don't know if there was a solution. A forum search should reveal the relevant topic.

If you right-click the systray and select "Properties", in the "Taskbar" tab there is a checkbox for "Hide inactive icons" and next to this is a "Customize" button. In here you can set the monkey to always show.

The systray hides the monkey from time to time, some sort of pixel changing is required to let it show, could that be done?
