No problem, right of choice.

I know that it looks confusing but due to copyrights I could not include them in installation package. If you know what to do it will took you 3 minutes to DL and copy to folder.

Hi Peke,
I checked out the post about installing the software and decided not to give it a try.It sounds way too complicated.
Thanks anyway

I'm downloading Quick Play and Audio Monitor. Is that what you were suggesting for DJing?

Also as a DJ Check My MM FAN Page in my signature for some tools that can help you in this.

Gapless eliminates silences, in other words it cuts playback of a song when it becomes to soft and starts the next song.
Crossfading will fade out a song while fading in a new song. Crossfading normally sounds best with similar music (genre and BPM).

I didn't realize that crossfading could be done with the Direct sound output.I tried to use sqrsoft and while it works OK on the default setting, the program gives me a message "invalid floating point operation" as soon as I try to configure the settings.I don't know why that is happening.
I will have to fiddle with the Diect sound settings to get them to sound like a DJ fade.Any suggestions on that beyond the FAQs?
What is the differences between crossfade and gapless anyway.I'm a little confused by that.Is it that the first tune comes to complete sllence before the next one starts?

Check out this FAQ on Gapless Playback.

DJ ing with MM?

Hi,
I'd like to be able to do simple DJing with MM. Mainly I want smooth transitions from one tune to another and at the same time still use the Enhancer to make the MP3s sound better.
Is there a plugin for that?
