I didn't realize that crossfading could be done with the Direct sound output.I tried to use sqrsoft and while it works OK on the default setting, the program gives me a message "invalid floating point operation" as soon as I try to configure the settings.I don't know why that is happening.
I will have to fiddle with the Diect sound settings to get them to sound like a DJ fade.Any suggestions on that beyond the FAQs?
What is the differences between crossfade and gapless anyway.I'm a little confused by that.Is it that the first tune comes to complete sllence before the next one starts?
