Hi All,

This is what I did and it seems to work in Media Money 3.2.0.1294 and my Ipod Classic 160 Gb:
Tools > Sync Devise > Configure Devise (Choose yout Ipod) > Devise Configuration tab > Copy Album Art to Track tags.

Now the album art shows in my Ipod screen.

Good Luck!

I found what causes this in my case.
At least I think I have. :P

How is this a fix?

Does the Itunes thing have to be done every time you copy a song to the ipod? if not then ignore what's below.

My question is my subject. How is this considered a fix? I mean, I love MM. I have been using it for a while and it is the best media organization tool I have ever used (and I've used a lot). My problem is like the others mentioned. I will try to sync up my ipod or even just try to copy over some songs and all of a sudden some of the mp3s on the ipod have no album art and some are showing the completely wrong album art. I mean I have Rise Against and it is showing me album art from Hinder on the screen. It seems that any transfer with MM to the ipod messes up the artwork database or something.

I don't think that I am the only one that would say that using Itunes isn't really considered a fix, it's a workaround. I mean the reason I bought MM is so that I didn't have to put up with the cpu hungry Itunes in the first place. Just let me know when MM gets this fixed and I will upgrade. Until then I will just be using it as my media organizer. :(

For those having similar problems - this is what I did to fix it.

I did have to sync with Itunes - just not my music. I then unchecked display album art on the ipod - it took a minute or two and it deleted all the album artwork off the ipod. I then checked it again - it then rebuilt the album artwork and now it seems to be working ok.

Good luck to everyone.

I have the same problem with my 80gig ipod video. I am embedding the album art into each file and am working with mp3s only. It shows up on the ipod through MM correctly - but when I am playing my ipod - it most of the time it shows up as a black square. Sometimes the correct art shows up, and sometimes the incorrect art shows up.

Ughh!

help!

What file formats are you syncing and how do you have album art stored (embedded or external)?

Also make sure you have the latest version (2.5.5) of MediaMonkey.

MM Album art for Ipod 80gb video

I cannot get the album art to show up on my ipod. It worked when I synced with itunes but now it doesn't work with MM. When I browse the files in MM the album art shows up on my desktop but when I transfer my files to my ipod there's nothing to be seen. I was wondering if I have to auto tag them or file tag them and if itunes had automatically done that. It seems if the album art is showing up on MM then it should show up on my ipod.

I appreciate any help that can be offered.

Thank you.

Jason
