its not a matter of getting here before anyone else blake.
its a matter of being in the forum at any given part of the day to answer any question that might be posted.

there is a link to questions that are unanswered you can click them and see what you might beable to answer. 8)

are you thinking since i answer the questions they are posted in the day time over here? :-?

blake it is now 2:15 am here you can't go on when some one in a location answers a question to say that it was posted in their day time. and really not by my posting. i am in here any time day or night. us old folk don't sleep too well i get about 4 hours or 5 hours then i'm up and i get that any time of the day or night.

which is why i am here so much. you youngen's needs your beauty sleep now don't ya' know'ed

The problem with me answering post straight away is, well... I can't.

Because of time zones It is usually night time in the U.S. and Europe or very early in the morning or late at night. Because a lot of the people that ask questions are from those questions I cant get around to answering them very quickly.

Speaking of places where you live, MoDementia also lived in Geelong but he hasn't posted since February. Is there anybody else that lives in Geelong.

I feel the same about this, especially for newcomers.

By the way, you're doing a great job Cowboy.

i don't have a problem with addiction to the forum.

i just try to come by as often as i can to answer anypost
i see i can answer because people want an aswer to their
posts as soon as they post their question not 3 to 8 days
later.

and that has been proven a couple times already by members
asking for replys by bumping their questions.

and if nobody comes to the forum all the time then there is less of a chance for them to get any answer when they might need one.

in the case of everyone asking questions every one is the same as a 2 year old they want the answer to why when they ask why not when daddy gets around too it.
and they ask why over and over until they get answered.

so everyones question is treated by me as an emergency if i can answer it i do if not i try to find the closest area that might be of help to them. and try to find the people here that might be the best to answer them.

that is why i am here a lot either logged in or not logged in.

Websense was my solution to the addiction. Unfortunately it wasn't voluntary.

Do not tell me anything about spam :)

by trixmoto » Wed Apr 11, 2007 4:27 am

Yeah, trying to read every post can certainly get tiring, especially when sometimes you don't really know what they're talking about, you're just checking there's no spam or anything! :)

by Peke » Tue Apr 10, 2007 7:27 pm

just several times a day and trying to read every post.

by Blake » Tue Apr 10, 2007 5:43 pm

I suppose that is a lot of posts, but at least you don't hang around on the forums all day waiting for people to post, do you?

by Peke » Tue Apr 10, 2007 2:06 pm

Well what can I say 2 Post a day almost 4 years :)

by trixmoto » Tue Apr 10, 2007 4:51 am

Apparently my average has gone over 7 posts per day, doesn't sound like a lot but I believe that counts as addicted! :)
