Hey all you MM devs...
I mentioned this in the flac corruption thread, but it wasn't answered there. Will MM 4 provide the abillity to somehow sync tags from the database to files? That is, left side of a window contains tags, sorted as in any over view, right side contains a file tree, for example, and you can match up which tags you want to apply to which files, then say "go", and tags in the database will be added to the files they've been matched up with?
This is the only way I'll be able to restore my tags if I have to re-rip all my CDs due to the flac corruption problem (and losing data from them), so it would be lovely if you had such a capability, or provided a separate tool for the job.
Or perhaps you know of a tool that would do that already. The problem is, if it were done outside of MM, then reassociating the files with their records in the database would be yet another step.
Thoughts?
