Equalizer will be fixed in the next release.

Got the same thing - almost. Running 3-1045 on Vista Home. Activate equalizer, all is fine. But change any settings and the song playing starts in a never ending 10 second loop.

Close the equalizer, the looping sound remains. Move to the next track - the new track plays, but still with the 10 second loop from the previous track repeating over and over in the background.

So, for now, I make the necessary adjustment, close the equalizer, close MM, restart MM and all is good.

well really tommae88 it is a big deal its been doing this since day one of mm 3. and all other versions of mm2 never had this trouble with the eq button. so this might just snowball in to something else. as it has already started to compound errors since alpha 1 to alpha 5 by starting to stutter the sound.

normal default plugins for mm 3. and the wav out.

Same deal with me, except it's not muted; the treble is just dead. All that's left is the rumble, until I open the Equalizer again.

still here but doing different things now?

when clicking on the eq button to show the Eq. on screen
the sound will stutter and then the Eq shows up.

all seems normal and plays then when clicking the Eq button to close or remove the Eq from the screen, the sound stutters again, and the Eq is removed from the screen. 4 seconds later all computer sound is muted.

its been doing that since alpha 1 the only difference is in alpha 5 the sound stutters.
