there is an option to start minimized which should start up in the microplayer/ taskbar player.

but maybe an option can be added to the option panel to start in mini player mode. not sure if it could be it might be too hard to code?

Good luck with the development. It's looking great. Long way ahead of anything else.

Purely a personal observation, but there's a slight risk of clutter in the main UI. I guess there's a little work to do around the miniplayer - and there's probably a way to make that the default start up ? When I just want to stream or play a single track ?

...that would let me fire up the full media management facilities only when I had to work on my library.
