Horizontal functions as expected, however the vertical slider seeming functions opposite from (I would assume) the most most logical sense of left being less (lower), and the right being more (higher).
Where as, the Vertical slider functions oppisite this, moving the vert slider to the right, lowers the pop-up window.
I suggest that, all 3 sliders have some type of indicater to show what they are doing, left = less/lower, right = more/higher:
Transparncy: 0% to 100% (transparent to opaque)
Horizontal: Left to right
Vertical: Lower to Higher
Alternatively, you can remove the location sliders completely, and let the user drag and drop the pop-up window to the position they want (just like every other panel/window).
Removing the horizontal/vertical sliders would return some space for the other options that were removed, like tray and numeric key options.
If the sliders are left in place, then the pop up window should have some type of preview, so that the user can see where the sliders are putting the pop-up window.
In any case, I could not see any way to manually drag and drop the pop-up window with the mouse. The window should be user movable, and it should remember where it was placed.
