BTW, the auto-analyze does not seem to use the active filter either. (ie the 'available tracks' filter does not affect the error in the first post.

Thanks. I'll check it.

It seems that A6 is trying to analyze files on a drive which is not connected, and for some reason it thinks it is.

this causes popping up the dialog:

Error: The media 'media_name' is not inserted. It must be inserted to access the file ?:\path\filename.mp3

Cancel/Retry

for every single file.

Holy cow that is annoying and not easy to stop it since it pops up so fast you can't turn it off very easy.

also a feature suggestion, or behavior change:
auto-analyze should should always STOP completely when other background tasks are going (ie add/rescan, ripping, syncing, etc).

yes I realize it runs at idle priority, but my preference is not to run AT ALL during other background processes.
