i think it's the same with some of the other fields, too. i believe i remember unchecking "artist" or "album" to find that MM3 updated those tags regardless. i'm not 100% positive, but pretty sure (i can't check, cuz at work i'm sticking with MM2

OK, thanks Ludek - I was under the impression that [cancel] cancelled the auto-tagging of tracks too, not just the album art download.

You could simply click [Cancel] button if you don't wish to download the cover, but you are right that this is a bug.

Will be fixed.

A7 Bug: Amazon auto-tag incorrectly downloads album art

When Auto-Tagging from Amazon, album art is downloaded, even though the options to download album art are de-selected (i.e. don't download).

To reproduce:

1) Click the [options] button, and select "Ask where to save image".
2) Find an Amazon record with album art and click [Auto-tag]
3) The "Add Album Art" dialog comes up. Deselect all options so that nothing gets downloaded (because the image is bad or incorrect perhaps).

RESULT: The "Downloading Album art" dialog pops up for a few seconds, and album art is downloaded.
