I'd second this, snarl is a good generic way of doing the popup stuff, and allowing it to be customised.

I was wondering if it was possible to include snarl support. It should not be difficult since they provide a comprehensive class to use in C++.

Snarl is a Notification system much like the Toaster from amarok or any other software.

It would help a lot since one would not have to develop an extra plugin for this feature :)
