question for you.?

are you trying to burn video cd's

or are you trying to use media monkey to burn data cd's of your video files?

if you are trying to do video cd's then you need a video studio program for that try ulead vidio studio or other one you can find on software sites.

if your doing data cd's of your files.. then data should work even monkey does not need to understand the file to burn it in data form.

so try the debug report, it is in the bug forum.

MediaMonkey doesn't support burning of videos (i think). In any case MediaMonkey doesn't support video natively nor does it try to.

You should try burning with an application like Nero. But it seems this is a hardware/driver issue.

wrong forum and you seem to be a wee bit peeved.?
but it might have been one of the last updates from ms.
or just a mistake with the install of some program.
try going to the desktop then to the my computer area.
or go to the start button if you don't have the icon for the my computer on your xp desktop. then once in the my computer area select the
cdrom burnner and then click on the properties button.
look for a way on one of the tabs to turn on the burning part of the cdrom burnner? it might be a check box with the wrods "Allow this drive to burn cd's" or something like that. if that is not the trouble you might need to do a debug report log and send it to jiri or rusty.
the debug program is in the debug forum in a sticky thread.
