Thank you for your support!

EDIT: I've got it! MP3tag writes tags in ID3v2.4 format with utf-8 support. MediaMonkey uses ID3v2.3 with utf-16. After re-tagging with utf-16 in MP3tag, the covers show up fine again!

Cover art from MP3Tag is missing

Tankred,

I took a look at the file and although I didn't examine _why_ this is occuring, I found that in addition to MediaMonkey, neither WMP nor Winamp see the album art in question.

I'm guessing that this is an MP3Tag issue, but will forward this to Florian to let him know/respond.

I will do that, thank you.

MediaMonkey supports album art in tags so this should work. Maybe MediaMonkey no longer understands MP3Tag's storage method.

Maybe you send an email with a small song that has album art in Mp3Tag, but shows none in MediaMonkey to support at mediamonkey.com

Cover storage issues

Hi!

Ever since, I use MP3tag to tag my MP3-files properly. When they are completely tagged, I "give" them to MediaMonkey.

When tagging an album, I insert the cover into the tag and MP3tag shows me, that the procedure was successful. But when I open the files with MediaMonkey, it shows no covers. Not in the cover window and not in the properties of the files.

Any ideas what happened? This procedure (tagging with MP3tag and using with MediaMonkey) used to be perfect and the covers could be seen by MediaMonkey but for some reason this stopped working some time ago. As I did updates to MedieMonkey but not MP3tag, I assume a change in the first that is responsible for this "behaviour".

Help would be nice!

Thank you.
