Sorry about that I just posted here trying to close out this section of it--this person sounds like he had the closest thing to my problem but I don't think this is the issue. I was responding to various parts of the same issue with threads that matched my issues. This is the last post I found but it sounded like the most promising to respond to at the time--I should have just posted links in the other threads.

I don't think the cdplayer.ini is the issue here, it looks like you get that error with the debug version whether it is hung on filescan or not. But I also don't think there are much other clues in the full log I submitted--hope I am wrong and this is an easy fix.

I get this same behavior on a Infrant ReadyNAS (gigabit connection--using UNC paths). Its happened on multiple different files at multiple different times after the scan starts, even after moving "problem" files. I don't think the debug logs are going to tell you much more than what is posted here. These files would be quite large because they get through a lot of files before the hang occurs.

What is it trying to mess with cdplayer.ini for anyway?

I am currently trying the latest beta debug version, no change in behavior from the current release version.

Thanks for your help. I mail the complete logfile and the mp3-File.

But I don’t think that it is the mp3-File. I deleted others before and it is always

Another File or Directory but in all cases the same Recordnumber 10734 !

With the same Music-Files on my USB-Device I had no problems, everything worked fine.

Then I copied to the NAS Netgear SC101 and have this problem.

The whole debug log would be more interesting. Also, you can check out which file causes the problem (e.g. try to remove it from the disk) and e-mail it to us then.

Hi,

when I scan my NAS-Volume (on a Netgear SC101) MM always stops at the same record (10734 of 11473). It is not the same MP3-File which is shown, because I deleted the folder where the Problem started first, so the related MP3-File is absolutely ok.
Could it be a problem extending the Database? I created it by MM before starting with the scan.
When the MM-Scan has stopped, I can't close MM, it can only be aborted by Windows Taskmanager.

I made a Debug, but I am not sure, if it contents all lines and messages, because of being aborted by Taskmanger, perhaps the file has not been closed.
