I see now. They make a bit more sense. I don't understand how some of the critera are used. What do the ratings mean fror the following:
* Needs Hearing (what is the difference between, say, a 5 and a 10)
* Heard Regularly/Not heard Regularly
* Highly Rated
* New Songs
* "x" into Song Choice Playlist

Also, a minor nitpick - I'd hardly call songs with .5 rating or less, "Overlooked Goldens." I'd call then "Crap" :)

Here are the errors. The first box says:

Code: Select all

There was a problem querying the database.
22003:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]Numeric value out of range(null)
Then

Code: Select all

Error #-2147418113 - SongsDB.SDBDBIterator
List Index out of bounds (0)
File: C:|Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\SongChoice.vbs, Line 689, Column: 12
And finally

Code: Select all

Error happened during script execution
List index out of bounds (0)

I'll look into that.
If possible could you help me out by giving the exact error, including the line number, thanks :)

I've installed the script and have a couple of problems.

If I select "Give'em a go" I get a script/database error: "Out of bounds"

If I select any of the others, there aren't errors, but only the top node has any songs. The child nodes of each are all empty.

Hi guys,

The script has been updated. You shouldn't be getting anymore errors at all!

Let me know how it goes..

This is interesting looking script. I like the 'abandoned favorites', and 'new hits' node.

I'm getting script errors on the 'overlooked golden' node.

SongChoice Possible Fix

It's not a self install, just overwrite the old version with it.

If that doesn't work I have a suggestion by a member of the forum in my PM which should work :)

Thanks guys
GOOD! Thanks!

Nice to see that you rewrote your script almost from scratch. Works as it should. Nice job

This script looks really superb, considering the very nice scripting, usefulness and speed of development.

I haven't tested it out yet, but I'll do it soon as this looks great!

I'm not saying your system doesn't work well, it works great! I was just pointing out that an options sheet might be a bit more standard. The script is looking very interesting though! :)
