Posting here as I don't want to litter the forum?

When browsing with art, it would be really cool to have an A to Z to allow the user to jump to where they would to look, similar to BrowsByArt script. And could it float?

Or have I missed this?

theres trouble with the floating player and the playlists

not sure if you know about it because it does not generate any alerts.

sometimes going to the floating player. and turning off the playlist

then going to the main player again after a song or two. then doing
the editing to the songs you wanted or playing a few more songs on the
main player.

you go back to the floating player the button for turning on or off the playlists on the floating player now does not work

the eq button also does not work. and the time counter is locked, and sometimes the whole player locks and you have to exit it.

some times you can go back to the main player
and turn on the playlists there and then go back to the floating player
the playlist button will now work and the timer is unlocked and the eq is unlocked so this one error effects all three of those things.

but the error only shows up if you close the now playing playlist when on the floating player,

it does this no matter what skin is used. :o

some sort of error in the skinning of media monkey 3 it messes with the
buttons when you click on them and close the item they control mainly the playlists and the EQ and the continous buttons are the only ones doing it every time.

it is also only doing it on a skin of different size then normal blue monkey skin.

every thing else on the skin works fine just this covinger of the button images when they are turned off?

:-?

just realized in a thread in the artwork forum that this is an error that is causing a shawdow to show up on the buttons from the button or item to the left of it?

still did that um? just rescan the folders with mm 2.5.5 and the songs will
be back in the then and the playlists should still be there too.

worse, it screwed my MM db (2.5.5). It is nowhere to be found.
User beware.

For me, it crashed when trying to view the covers of an empty search, (200Gb of songs!) ... not blaming MM :)

Another quirk is that the last.fm program doesn't know what MM3 is playing.

also so check this thread out to see what is messing with the micro player on my system.

the micro player does not shrink or stretch with the size of the space.

if the system tray gets longer because of more icons it will over lap the micro player.

it seems that mm3 also has trouble playing for a long time.
i start it up with nothing but the normal stuff running and,
do nothing but play music with it, i don't even edit the songs.
just sit here and listen to music then about 10 to 20 minutes or
about that the mm3 just lockes up.
and it pops up the send bug report alert.
but i am off line when i test it so i just been closeing this alert,
thinking it was something on a timer that ran in the background.
but it has been locking up at times when there is nothing
set to run by timers so it has to be mm3 doing it.?

media monkey 3 seems to be running slower when you add a skin with heavy graphics.

it also seems to be using lots of memory when add album art to song and telling it to save in tag if possible.

media monkey 3 also has trouble saving album art in the way of selecting all songs you want the album art on. then click add art then click okay. it saves only to one song.

it adds the no album art image to the rest.

as stated in the last message the little album art disks that show up when there is no album art?

well the information also does not show up?

but what is strange is every now and then they do show up its like pot luck
on wheather or not the stuff will show when i start media monkey.

also found that media monkey 3 does not like it when you go to floating player, then try to restore back to the large player. if it is still doing some background stuff it will lock on the floating player. you have to use the system try icon to restore.
then it will bring up the send bug report box, until it is finished with the background stuff. then you can close the send bug report box and media monkey works normal.

until you go to close it then you have to close it twice.

for some reason the little disk image that is to show in place of the album art. when you change to the album art view instead of the list view.

now does not show up anymore?

also the popup does not show up most the time.

:o :( :-?

winXp is where i'm testing this mm3

by rovingcowboy » Wed Mar 07, 2007 7:51 am

is there something wrong with the size memory in mm3 alpha 2.?

i moved the size to see something then clicked the maximum button to put the list back to full screen.

but every time i start mm3 the program is not at the full screen?
