Yes, this would be kickass if it also used
silence to separate tracks and disks. I've dreamt
of an app that allows me to set my Sony Jukebox
playing my whole collection and have it record
the songs over TOSLINK. Sure it would take 5 days
to record 150 disks, but it beats swapping disks.
Of course then you get into the issues with how
to tag the files once you have them stored.
musicbrainz comes to mind. There's also
Sony s-link/Control A1 II which would be just too
overthetop of an enhancement. I'm actually reassessing
whether a 400-disk jukebox loaded with DVD's wouldnt be
a cheaper way to store music. Bahhh, hard drive prices keep
coming down.
