Since the file name is a part of the path you can not change the path for multiple tracks from Properties.

In the My Computer node, however, you can change the file structure of your disk manually.

Or Auto-Organize.......

Need to Change Multiple Paths

KDO:

I'd like to use the Track Properties...
It works fine if I have one track selected...
But! as soon as I select a second track,
the path and filename are unenabled... making me crazy.

Is there an setting I need to change? somewhere?

Sandy.

by the way, I think this should work too:
simply select multiple tracks and then press "shift-enter" to edit "multiple properties" -- and edit the folder name.

(Auto-organize has an advantage in that it can move not only music files but also any accompanying files in the folder.)

Use Auto-organize and edit the mask something like "C:\..new path...\<filename>

Maybe you also will find the option <path:X> useful for the above mask. Read the help how to handle it.

Need to Change Multiple Paths

I only seem to be able to change one path at a time.
I would like to be able to change the path (not the file name)
for a whole CD, instead of doing in incrementally, one
song at a time.

Help me!

... and Thanks!

Sandy.
