I should of seen this thread but missed it.

Yeah, 2.4 is a no-go for artwork. Even still in the RC-1 release it's not working. I thought it would be fixed and went ahead to test my library with it. Big mistake. All my tags were 2.4 and I got no artwork. I actually couldn't figure it out for a day or two, completely forgetting about the tag identification being 2.4. I went through uninstalls, reembeddings, etc. And here it was my stupid tag ID! :)

The thread has seen some attention so hopefully this problem will be fixed in future releases.

I haven't tried any of the alphas, but I've never had any luck using ID3v2.4 for album art in MM at all. The combo has always ended up corrupting the headers on those files.

I have since used MP3Tag to convert all my tags to ID3v2.3. It may not be ideal, but it took very little effort to change.

I can't get MM3 (A7 or A8) to read cover art that has been embedded using an id3v2.4 tag. It seems to recognize that there is an APIC tag, but it can't find an image, and in the properties dialog, it lists the image type as "mage/jpeg." (i.e., the "i" is missing).

Mp3tag reads the cover art just fine.
