d&d for Mood and Occasion

by rusty » Mon Dec 03, 2007 2:29 pm

Thx--This was an oversight. It was correctly fixed for Artist/Album Artist/Composer/Genre, but not for Mood and Occasion.

Added to the todo list.

Hello all,

I was just wondering if someone knew when the multiple classification for one song via drag/drop with the <ctrl> key pressed works. I have tried on the last version 3.0.0.1105 but, unless I am not doing it correctly, it does not work. (even when I keep the <ctrl> button pressed, and I do a drag and drop, my song gets the second mood but the existing mood is deleted)

Anyway thks again for all the last updates,

Fabrice

Hello again Rusty,

I just downloaded MM Version 3 Beta 4. Thks a lot for this.

So if I have seen that :
multiple classification works if you open the properties of a song and then type several key words with ; btw them in the classification field.
however, you still cannot give several key words for a classification field by doing drag and drop while pressing the shift key, right?

Tks

OK thank you Rusty,

Do you have any idea when the multiple classification for one song will be fixed? will it be in another beta version or only when the final version of MM3 will come out?
Because for me this multiple classification will be the feature for which I find MM so great, and I cannot really start tagging my mp3 base without it.

1. Very soon--once all critical issues are resolved ;)
2. Multiple classifications are supposed to work via d&d (i.e. Drag and drop with the <ctrl> key pressed to append the second mood). This isn't working at the moment.

Multiple classifications for one song [F3393 RC4]

by riderfab1 » Tue Oct 02, 2007 1:06 pm

Hi all,

I have 2 simple questions which have probably been answered somewhere else but I could not find it :
1. Do we know when the official version of MM3 will be released?
2. About multiple classification : I have seen different topics about that but I still do not understand if this feature will be supported in MM3 :
some of my songs have to be tagged with 2 different moods, for instance slow and balad for one single song. But when I copy/paste or drag/drop a song from a one mood to another mood, then my song is tagged with the second mood only (and I would like to have both moods)

Thanks in advance for your help

Fabrice
