Seems this issue comes up from time to time, any solutions?

As far as conversion from FLAC to ALAC, that's not yet supported, though we'd like to add alac encoding after 3.0 is released.

That would be THE BEST! I will stay tuned for the release and updates to 3.0.

Thanks for all your hard work. You guys really do an amazing job of addressing users questions/concerns/issues.

Chauncey,

Try using MM 3.0.0.1105--it solves ALAC playback problems.

MediaMonkey 3 FLAC to M4A synch

by Chauncey » Wed Nov 14, 2007 7:49 pm

I am using MM 3.0.0.1098. I am a lossless only guy. My collection is archived in FLAC. I have an iPod full of lossless m4a files. When I try and play one of the lossless m4a files in MM3, i get an error that says "Unsupported audio track type". If I click "OK", MM3 will play the song. Why am I getting the error?

Also, I would like to be able to synch my iPod using MM3. Will the gold version allow me to convert on-the-fly from FLAC to lossless M4A and synch the M4A files to my iPod?

Thanks,
Mike
