If you mean that doing that the default library filter matches the modified one, you understood correctly. But i did not analyzed the problem this way...

I think you can analyze that way because you precisely know how it is technically implemented but user would not.

To me, the default filter should never been impacted by modifying another filter - even if they are identical and overall if the modified filter is not applied. :-?

Defaul view should be constant. And moreover, when editing the default view, you cannot change player features!

Well, anyway, that's the way i see it. Maybe you consider it's not a bug, at least admit this is not a user-friendly and obvious behaviour. :-?

I haven't tested, but by reading your description I don't see any bug - if you remove all conditions, MM thinks that this filter contains all tracks and thus all tracks have bookmarking active. Do I understand it correctly?

RC3 : bug with filters

Simple to be reproduced:
- run MM
- open filters management
- select Podcast filter (other ones may lead to the same results)
- remove all criterias
- close dialog box
- close options dialog without changing active filter
-> now each time you play a track bookmarks are activated

Delete the modified filter to solve the problem ; or deactivate the 'activate bookmarks' feature at filter settings level.
