I think you can analyze that way because you precisely know how it is technically implemented but user would not.
To me, the default filter should never been impacted by modifying another filter - even if they are identical and overall if the modified filter is not applied.
Defaul view should be constant. And moreover, when editing the default view, you cannot change player features!
Well, anyway, that's the way i see it. Maybe you consider it's not a bug, at least admit this is not a user-friendly and obvious behaviour.
