Heh. Programming rule #1: users are idiots, and will abuse programs in many unforeseen ways.

While it may make no sense, MM should still act reasonable in the face of idiot users. :D

This is a minor bug, but one that is slightly annoying.

If you have dead links, select Library/Files to Edit/Dead Links, and double-click on a dead link in an attempt to play it, MM will constantly cycle through all of the dead links. This wouldn't be too bad, except that much of the MM GUI becomes very, very slow to respond. The pull-down menus are responsive, but much of the main window is slow. Example: expanding Library/Genre (or collapsing it) is very slow.

The fastest workaround is to kill and restart MM, although you can also eventually fix this by playing another song (one that exists), if you can wait long enough for MM to respond.
