Brilliant, thanks guys! Sorted the history and all is well!

Will give the exporting playlists a go next time I clear the library :D

In your MediaMonkey.ini, find the heading [SendToPlstHist]. Delete the entries under it and start MM, the history should be gone.

o Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.ini

o Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.ini

You could use Tools > Scripts > Export all playlists to export the playlists before you clear the library.

Recent playlists and clearing library

by lostphil » Fri Jul 18, 2008 4:00 pm

Hi all,

I've been playing around with tags and just re-ripped my entire library but there's something really annoying me about clearing the library (which I've done a fair bit recently)...

When you clear the library, the playlists are deleted which I can live with (is there any way around this?) but the annoying thing is, the deleted playlists appear under the recent items list when you right click on a song, select send to,then playlist. So now I have multiple playlists that I once used for syncing to a DAP that I can't use clogging up the "send to ->playlist" list.

Any way of clearing these but keeping the rest of your settings?

Thanks guys

Phil
