oh i seen the options to cut it back to 16 bit, and thought that would work, as i said in the message ,, I think it would work., not i was sure of it.

Mad Cowboy, MAD plugin is only for reading MP3's. Not FLAC.

i think the mad input plugin can down convert it to play but not sure if monkey will save it as flac?

Just bought an album online (David Byrne and Brian Eno) in the FLAC format that turned out to be 24bit, which plays in MM but won't play on my Sonos system. I know MM can convert one format to another -- can I use it to go from 24 bit FLAC to 16 bit FLAC?
