That should explain it. To restore, I have to clear that folder and rescan.

Can you elaborate?

What node were you working in?
What exactly did you right-click on? and Where? (i.e. were you in the Tracklist and rightclicked on the track to delete it?)

I really don't understand the scenariou that you've described...

I was cleaning up my stuff. (Somehow a large chunk of album art got corrupted)
Anyways, I was removing one album by right-clicking on it in the list. I proceeded to open properties and clear the name. Surprised, it was still there, so I cleared the artist field, too.
And suddenly all the Unknown Album songs were listed in there. None of the maintenance options seem to clear it.
Edit: I just highlighted all the songs in that empty album and checked the box next to Album and Artist. Now they're just not in the list at all.

Edit2:
After restarting the program, they returned.
