That accords with documentation:

The OP behaviour does not... if we assume the docs mean ignoring of special characters on >1-char string occurs at /all/ positions.

Independently of this issue, I suggest the docs need a complete spec. of special char behaviour.

Not reproduced here. e.g. D: returns much fewer tracks than D. I cannot spot which field is being matched.

My library has tracks the path of which include [b]D:\[/b], and my search options include Path. When in quick search I enter [b]D:\[/b], the results include some but not all of the tracks which have [b]D:\[/b] in Path.
