Really?
I don't know what are MTP and Mass storage mode, or whether my phone supports them. I do know that when my phone is connected to the computer I can transfer files to and from it using the usual 'drag and drop', but still MediaMonkey doesn't recognize it as a portable device so I can't sync. I figured the problem is with MediaMonkey, isn't it?

Edit:
Also, I'm not the only one having problems syncing a Symbian phone, I saw a lot of reports on this issue on other threads, for example:

I think there is room here to at least request improved support for Symbian phones in MediaMonkey.

My Nokia E71 syncs nearly perfectly (symbian 3rd edition). If your phone supports MTP or Mass storage mode, it will work. Not sure why you need specific symbian support, symbian doesnt even have its own sync protocol for music and media as far as i know.

I've seen some requests and questions about Symbian phones on other MediaMonkey forums, but I think it should be on the wishlist. There are a lot of Nokia phone owners out there who want to sync MM with their phones (and I'm one of them).
Please add this feature!
