Hi there, and firstly I must apologize if this odd behaviour was already reported. I have some playlists recorded from past media monkey version (the last stable one). I gave a shot at the beta and rc's to be able to subscribe podcasts because with the stable version I had the wininet issue so widely discussed in here, But as the «upgrading» to the rc got that problem solved it actually seemed to introduce some others:
1. I updated from the last stable version to rc 1249. And only noticed a duplication of the node «imported m3u playlists» in portuguese. after a while and after having installed rc 1250. I suspect this was due to having used three locales until now. First I used brazillian portuguese locale, then installed the portuguese from Portugal locale available from this same forum where I got the rc's.
Meanwhile, I switched to the english version due to problems with Jammix DSP which I thought might be related to incompatibilities with the portuguese from portugal locale. Nevertheless, it wasn't until I wanted to add some files to some previously saved playlist, that I noticed there were two nodes in very similar portuguese phrasing referring to the same apect: imported m3u playlists. And what was strange was that all the playlists in both nodes were empty. I risked a solution, that was, erasing the nodes and all the imported playlists with it and adding the folder where some of the playlists were back again. That really solved the problem. Now I have the portuguese from Portugal locale, and only one node with playlists that are really displaying correctly.
2. Another issue is that the access to the menus via keyboard (Alt + «key») doesn't respond promptly all the times. Actually there is some kind of pattern in that access but I am curious why does it work that way. I mean I have to actually look at the menu to see if pressing Alt + «key» will actually trigger the desired command. Sometimes it responds immediately but others I have to press Alt several times to «point» the interface to the menu bar...
3. This third issue should be addressed to Jammix Developer, but I also decided to post it in here because I enjoyed to use that DSP and am curious to know if there is anybody else out there who has the same bug. Jammix DSP produces some distortions in wma files. Does anybody else have the same problem? What's more, in Winamp 5.552 when this plugin is active, I can't listen to wma files. In Mediamonkey 1250 I can listen to wma files, but with constant glitches and hisses. In Winamp the result is even more drastic: total silence!
Finally, I wish all the best to all you programmers and people who are developing this software, and congratulate you for this superb piece of program this is. I like this software very much and been visiting this forum several times since I begun using this program. The whole team and the community seem very tight and supportive and this is quite a joy to witness.
Cheers and am anxiously looking forward to test the sucessor of this already acclaimed work!!!
