No. I can't see a reason for any toolbar not be floatable. Can you?

Some people may want to float a toolbar precisely to be able to resize it - beyond the main window.

I would propose that the bug is that certain toolbars shouldn't be floatable. Would you agree?

1 Float the Navigation toolbar
2 Try to drag the right edge

Expected: edge moves, esp. since the resize cursor icon is shown
Observed: edge does not move

Note: at least some of the time, other toolbars' resize cursor does work.

Workaround:
1 dock the toolbar at the top of the tree
2 rewidth the tree to the desired toolbar width
3 float the toolbar taking care not to drag it across any other dockable position
4 restore the tree width.
