Generally speaking you are right, something like this could be useful. We'll consider some improvements in this area for future versions.

Variable save locations for playlists

Howdy.

I posted a similar question in the help forum, and didn't get any response, so I'm assuming this is a feature that doesn't currently exist... Forgive my stupidity if I am wrong.

It would be nice if there was a way to synch different playlists to different locations on my USBMass (iAudio X5L) portable device. It currently seems like all playlists must be synched to one folder on the portable device.

Specifically, I keep all my playlists in a folder on the X5L called \Playlist (that's where the X5L wants them). But the list of playlists is very long since I keep playlists for all albums and genres... I'd really like it to be something like \Playlist\Genres contains all my genre playlists, \Playlist\Albums contains all my album playlists, etc.

It seems like there should be a way to have the synchronization use parent playlist names as subfolder names when synchronizing (so if I have a parent playlist called Genres and put all my genre playlists in it MediaMonkey would then save those playlists to \Playlist\Genres\ instead of just to \Playlist\).

Thanks for any info.
