Current latest build is 1488, it is showing as fixed for 1601 so it isn't available yet. It should be available when 4.1 beta testing starts.

The ticket was replied to and the issues was fixed.
Based on the following page does that mean that I can now download a version with the fix in it or do I have to wait?

I opened a ticket (FDT-646810) and provided the file CXVE.mp3 file indicated in the thread.
I was not able to attach the other file or a file that shows up in MediaMonkey properly.

Please send a sample file or two to the MM support team (see the support link at the top of this page) so they can determine why your mp3 tags are not being read.

I have a similar problem. All my files showed up fine in MM3, however since changing to MM4 some of the song, artist, album, and other information for a number of songs are not displayed.

MM4 has also created a new folder called "unknown"into which it moved
- alot of my mini lyric .lrc and .txt files but not all. These still have their correct file names.
- My jpeg images of scanned covers that I named with the album name, the jpeg images named "folder" are still in their correct locations.
- The Worse thing is that it has moved a large number of my songs to this new 'unknown' folder and renamed then all to Unknown - Unknown - 00 - Unknown (999).mp3 instead of Artist_Album_Track Number_Track name.

I do have a backup of my music folder, but I would like to get this sorted before I copy all the music from my backup to avoid this all happening again.

Thanks

I removed a file (CXVE).
Turned off Infer File Properties and then re-scanned.
It loaded the file without a title and the rest looks the same.

Try rescanning with Infer Track Properties disabled under Tools > Options > Library.

Some song artist and album Info no longer showing

I tried searching the forum for this issue but I did not see it.
I apologize, If it is there and I am duplicating a question that has already been answered. Please direct me to the right thread if this is the case.

Recently, I don't know why, the song, artist, album, and other information for a number of songs stopped displaying in MediaMonkey. These were not new songs that I loaded, I had loaded them a long time ago and there was never an issue with them.
This did not happen to all songs, just a small number (less than 100).
If I use Windows Explorer to view the song information, it is all there.
When I load the songs in Windows Media Player, the info is there.
In MediaMonkey I don't see the info.
(screen captures below)

Please help.

Thanks

Here is screenshot of MediaMonkey showing:
- CXVE - Which should be The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down by The Band from the Album The Band
- Sure Shot (and others) from Beastie Boys Ill Communication album
