I think there might be a memory leak in the iphone sync process. I'm on windows 7 64 bit with iphone 4s 5.1 64GB.
I tried to sync about 10,000 songs and the process failed somewhere along the way. I tried again with a smaller number of songs and I found that for each song synced mediamonkey takes up roughly an extra 500KB of RAM. So syncing 2000 songs means mediamonkey is using 1GB of RAM. RAM usage stays at this level until I quit and restart the program.
