In my case I have about 2 seconds before the speed disappears. If hit "burn" before the speed disappears (takes practice), the burning starts.

Just tried to burn a CD using beta 1. I highlight the album in the tree, right click, send to CD. I get the burning wizard, and all is fine until I get to setting the burning speed. No matter what I try, the burn speed box clears out and hitting the burn key does nothing.

Gold version.
